Sometimes you need to look back to look forward. Our wooden sunglasses do just that.

Each pair of these handmade wood frame sunglasses are meticulously crafted to create a perfect blend of traditional elements with a modern style. We source our wood in partnership with the Forest Stewardship Council and the Rainforest Alliance.

People tell us our shades are often the most comfortable sunglasses they have ever owned. Accompany that with polarized and UV400 protected lenses, and the result is a perfect balance of fashion and function.

We are often asked what wood works best for making sunglasses? As long as it is a harder and sturdier wood, you can create a styling pair of shades, amongst other things… We prefer to use bamboo, zebra wood, repurposed skateboard deck and pear wood. Sometimes we will change it up with mahogany, rosewood, sandalwood and others! If the right wood comes our way, we may even get creative and use old railroad ties, beetle kill pine, or an old guitar neck.

One of the unique features of bamboo sunglasses and wood sunglasses is that they float! So in the excitement of catching a rainbow trout or a big wave you can rest assured your wood wayfarer sunglasses will be floating by your side.

All our wood sunglasses come with a silken soft case and a bamboo hard case for added protection. This way you can safely take them on long road trips, bike rides and more with worrying about the integrity of the sunglasses becoming jeopardized.

We are always exploring new and innovative ways to expand our sunglasses line. Look for our prescription wood frame sunglasses later this year. If you have a particular style you would like to see, don’t hesitate to send us a line. We are always open to new and different styles!
